At your reception is where the party really starts! Soundsation can offer many ways to make your reception truly unique and memorable.

One detail worth considering is lighting. Lighting can create a profound effect on the ambiance and the mood of your reception. Hanging laterns strewn above an outdoor patio, a dramatic spotlight illuminating your unique cake, colorful lights featuring a live band....
these are some of the small details that make a big difference.

Welcome your guests with background music. Our DJs or live musicians can set the mood of your reception to get your party off on the right foot. Does your venue call for soft, sophisticated jazz played during cocktail hour, or would festive zydeco tunes make more sense for your outdoor reception? We'll work with you to design a repetoire of music that will fit for your party. Background music can be played during cocktail hour, right up to and through dinner.

Have strolling entertainers entertain your guests while you take photos, during cocktail hour or to entertain the little ones in attendance..This is a great touch especially if you are having a theme wedding or lots of juvenile guests.

Get everyone in a dance mood by grooving to a live band or DJ spinning all your favorite tunes! Our DJs work closely with your caterer, photographer and/or videographer to keep your reception's events synchronized and on schedule. Our DJs  are dressed in appropriate attire for your occassion — whether in a formal tux for your black tie wedding or a suit and tie for your semi-formal affair. We can also set up a white booth (see photo at left) to tastefully conceal our DJ equipment.
